So very sorry to read about Daniel. I was his Head Teacher during his last few years at Kader Primary School in Acklam. As an amateur musician myself I was absolutely astonished at his unique musical ability for someone so young. I encouraged him to play in assemblies and for concerts as his knowledge of music especially chord progression was way beyond his years . He had the capacity to absorb a tune, however complex and then remember it which is a truly remarkable talent. The other children and the staff loved to hear him play so much that a keyboard was purchased to help him develop.
